Fishing in Tampa Bay is one of the best-kept secrets in Florida. I don’t know of many places were you can leave the dock and can be fishing in less than 5 minutes on some of the most pristine flats found anywhere.

Imagine, the sun is shining the boat is cutting across the shallow flats to arrive at “the spot”. You push pole the boat into position, throw your line out, and wham! Within a couple of minutes, you have a Snook leaping into the air or a 150lb Tarpon pulling drag.

Fishing in Tampa bay is really a great experience. I would have to say that I am one of the luckiest guys alive, to be able to live here, and to be able to fish one of the most beautiful bays in the world every day.

One of the neatest things about fishing in Tampa bay is that everything is right there. Snook, Redfish, Cobia, Trout, Tarpon, Sharks, you name it! The seasons determine where these fish will be found.
