The Winds Don't Keep Us Off Tampa Bay!

Report Date: October 30, 2016

The winds are blowing in Tampa Bay, but that hasn’t kept us from catching fish. Despite the wind, fishing has been good. We are catching snook, redfish, and trout on the flats and a few tarpon and snapper in the Bay. Snapper are always a good fish to take home for dinner. Fishing should remain good as we continue through fall and into winter.

However, we will encounter a few changes, such as a decrease in water temperature. When the water temperature gets low, the fish don’t like to eat live bait. We usually start fishing with artificial bait at that point. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip today! Also, don’t forget to like us on Facebook.
