Wet Weather Produces Good Fishing In Tampa Bay!
Report Date: July 29, 2013
Tampa Bay has been a little wet and windy lately, but it hasn’t really slowed us down. It has actually made the heat a little more bearable.
Fishing has been pretty darn good.
Grouper season is open, and we’ve been catching some great fish that we’ve been able to keep. While fishing for grouper, we’ve also caught snapper, tarpon, sharks, and mackerel.
We have caught these fish while waiting on grouper to bite. Grouper sure are fun to catch because they put up a great fight.
Bay fishing has been really good too, producing a mix of fish.
Small bait has shown up and the fish love it. It seems as if the fish just can’t pass up the small bait. It makes the fish bite. The bait is pretty small right now, but it is growing. It will be really nice in a few weeks. Until then, we will make it work and keep catching some great fish. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip to day.
