Tampa Bay Fishing with Some Early Morning Action!
Report Date: September 13, 2012
The early bird gets the worm! At least that is the case when it comes to fishing in Tampa Bay lately. The early morning bite has been outstanding. If it’s not a great redfish bite, it’s a big tarpon pulling drag of your rod and jumping out of the water. It’s pure fun.
Redfish and tarpon are not the only fish biting in Tampa Bay. Snook, trout, jacks, and flounder are also hungry. Lately, it’s seemed like you have a fish on before your bait hits the water. Yes, Bay fishing is great now, but it’s going to get even better as fall approaches. As fall nears, it seems as if the fish we catch are a bit bigger.
While fishing for tarpon we’ve encountered great action with grouper, snapper, mackerel, sharks, and cobia. At times, you don’t know what you’re going to hook next. It’s something different each time your drop your line, which makes it interesting. Most of the fish that we have been catching while fishing for tarpon are good sized and pull really hard. Regardless if it is a great silver king jumping out of the water or a big grouper doing his best to get you in the rocks, it is fun. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip today!
