Tampa Bays cold weather doesn't stop the fish form biting!
Report Date: November 11, 2011
It’s cold, it’s warm, it’s cold, and it’s warm again!
That is typical Florida weather. The fluctuation in the weather sure makes things interesting in the fishing world. Do we put weights on to keep the bait on the bottom so the fish don’t have to chase it, or do we put a cork on to make some noise so the fish can find it? It depends a lot on the water temperature. The fish are biting really well, once you figure out which way to present the bait.
Grouper
and flounder have been on our radar lately. They sure are two of the best tasting fish in the water, and they put up a great fight. On cooler mornings, we’ve started our day fishing for grouper and flounder and had great success. Once it warms up, we’ve been heading to the flats to complete a grand slam.
