Tampa Bay weather was a little rough last week!
Report Date: September 2, 2008
We are finally back in the United States after spending eight days in Jamaica. Unfortunately, we did encounter some bad weather courtesy of Tropical Storm Gustav during our stay in Jamaica, but overall, it was nice. Gustav was not as strong when it hit Jamaica as it was when it hit the United States, but it still prevented us from doing any fishing while we were there.
Despite the poor weather that the Tampa Bay area encountered, the fish are still here. We caught snook, redfish, trout, and a mix of a few other species on our first day back. Although, I haven’t been able to do any tarpon fishing, I’m pretty sure that they should still be around. The fishing is still great! Remember that fall is just around the corner, so hurry up and book your trips today before winter arrives. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com. />
