Getting even better!
Report Date: November 13, 2006
Man this has been a fun week I can tell you that the fishing has been great. We have changed things each week the weather changes and the fishing does the same. We have had some slow starts but
for the most part it has been awesome. I say slow starts because before the day is up the fish have turned on in one place or another.
Let start it with the Snook They are getting a lot bigger and the numbers are great. We have had some great fish over the past weeks. There is still a number of smaller fish but there are some bigger fish mixed in with them. This make it fun, you can catch a bunch of fish and the big one! We have had a number of fish that are pushing the 30 plus inch mark. Which is a great Snook on the light tackle they are all fun.
Then let’s go to the
Trout, this fish has been taking off. They are out of season but this does not mean that you can’t catch them for fun. Of course now that they are out of season they have grown in size. We have had a lot of fish that have been over 20 inches a Gator Trout. It is good to see and doesn’t hurt my feelings at all to let these great fish go to see another day.
Tarpon well all is I can say if the wind would stop blowing we could get back out there and catch some of these great fish. We have not had a chance to get
back out there and do any fishing for them.
Then the most fun that we have had over the past week is the Red fishing. I mean Red catching the fishing for these great Red fish has been off the charts. We have had days with big numbers of fish, days with very big fish, and most of the days have had a mix of both. The big fish have been a lot of fun. We have had a lot of fish in the mid 30 inch range and if you have caught Red fish on light tackle you know how much fun this is.
To sum it up for the live bait fishing we have a little more then a month left so if you have that in mind you better set those trips up soon. But no worries once it gets colder we will still be catching those fish but we will have to change our ways.
