Tampa Bay – Bradenton – Sarasota – Boca Grande

A little bit later!

Report Date: December 2, 2005

Here we go the first few days we had to cancel because the weather was a little too windy. But the next few days it warmed up and we got to get out there and fish. It was a little windy but we managed to get out of the wind and catch some fish. We did change it up with a few things.

Let?s start with the Trout. We still have not been doing a whole lot of Trout fishing lately because they are out of season. But just because they are out of

season does not mean that you can not catch them you just can?t keep them. With the weather cooling the water temp is following in that it changes the Trouts behavior a little but you can still catch them and we have but it has mostly been when we have been fishing for Snook, or Red fish.

Then we have the Red fish. These fish with the cooler weather have been changing their pace a little bit too. We have been starting the mornings off using artificial. We

have had some luck each morning catching a lot of nice Red fish this past week mixed in we have been catching a few Trout and Snook as well. Red fish have been doing the best first thing in the morning with the artificial. After it warms up we have been catching a few Red fish on the live bait. The Red fish of the week was a great fish 29 inches. It put up a great fight for this young lady.

Snook and more Snook. These fish were a little slower in the mornings but once it warmed up we had more luck. The past week the afternoons have been better then the mornings because the water warms up and the fish bite better. This past week we had a lot of nice fish but the Snook of the week was a 31 inch Snook that was a great fish.
