The Action Is Back Tampa Bay!

Report Date: January 11, 2016

Happy New Year, fellow fishermen! I’m looking forward to some great fishing in 2016. During the winter, I take a break from charter fishing, and commercially fish for mullet. I’m happy to say that mullet season is over and I am back to running charters. There is plenty of bait around and the water temperature is warm enough to catch snook, redfish, and just about any other fish on the flats. The water temperature is so warm that we could probably even catch tarpon. Things certainly can change if we have a late winter, but at this point, I’m not counting on it. Don’t forget to book your spring trips now. My schedule is filling up quickly. For more information, please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com or our face book page.
