Catching Keeps Coming Tampa Bay!

Report Date: August 28, 2014

The snook bite in Tampa Bay has slowed a bit, but the redfish bite has picked up. The snook bite is certainly still there, it’s just not quite as good as it was.

The big schools of redfish are showing up like they ordinarily do this time of year, producing some good action.

Snook and redfish are not the only species of fish we’ve been catching in Tampa Bay. We have also been catching tarpon, shark, grouper, and snapper, just to name a few.

The tarpon bite has been great lately. We have not had one bit of trouble putting a few fish in the air every day. The tarpon bite should stay good for the next few months. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip today!
