Tampa Bay fish are feeling it!

Report Date: September 18, 2011

Fall is in the air, and the fish feel it. Not only has the weather been good, fishing has too. The weather and the water temperature are cooler so the fish are moving to the areas where they spend the fall season.

The redfish bite is producing great action.

We have caught big numbers of fish with great size. Last week, we caught the biggest redfish of the season to date. The fish was in the upper 30 inch range, pushing the 40 inch range. The big schools of redfish have certainly showed up.

The next few months are going to be full of rod bending action.

The snook numbers and size are starting to look a bit better.

We have caught a few really nice fish lately. As the water temperature drops, these fish will show up in a lot bigger numbers. We should see many great snook this fall.

The tarpon bite is still great!

We have been catching many of these great fish the past few weeks. Tarpon should remain in the area over the next few months and produce a great bite. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip today!
