TAMAP BAY FISHING - HAS GONE TO CATCHING!

Report Date: September 8, 2010

The water is a bit cooler, and the fish love it! The bite has been on fire the past two weeks. It is almost impossible to keep enough live bait to fish with because fishing is just that good. I’ve had to catch bait three to four times a day just to have enough to fish with. It’s just the beginning on fall fishing folks. It’s going to be a good one.

Big

redfish and lots of them are biting. The redfish have are finally in the areas that they usually are in this time of year. Each year fishing changes some, but this year we’ve had many changes. It’s just the beginning of a great redfish bite.

We have caught some great tarpon lately. The sizes of

the tarpon range from 20 pounds to 150 pounds. Tarpon should remain in the area until we get some cold weather. With all the bait around, it will definitely be a long time before tarpon leave the Bay area.

Let’s talk about trout catching. On occasion, you might have to more two or three times to different spots before find the big ones, but it is worth it. Lately, every time a bait hits the water, a fish bites it. While trout fishing, we’ve caught a number of nice snapper. You want to talk about a good eating fish… snapper is delicious.
