Any one can hookem but!

Report Date: July 12, 2004

Well last week was a little different then the last couple of weeks I had only one day where we went Tarpon fishing but that day we did have some luck. We started the week off with the early morning fishing we started the morning out with a nice Silver King. This fish was 100 lb Tarpon that took about 15 minutes to boat.

This week the Snook fishing was better we had a few days where we caught over 20 Snook. We had a lot of nice size fish that were 22-28 inches. Then we have the stories about the big one that got away more then one time. We did some fishing around some docks and you know how that goes with the light tackle the big fish are pretty smart and they know exactly were the dock is and they know how to use it. But we did managed to get a few nice Snook out of it . The Snook of the week was 28 inches.

The Trout fishing this week was a little slow we did manage to catch a few fish to be honest with you each time we Trout fished we caught more mackerel, and Blue fish.

Then we have the Red fish. We had a lot of fun with the Red frenzy. This week we had more then one day where we caught over 20 Red fish. We had a lot of nice fish we had a

number of fish that were over 30 inches. The Red fish of the week was a 33 inch Bull Red which put up one heck of a fight. I did have one day of fishing that we had a few unusual things happen. The first was one of the strangest fish/animals it was definitely unusual they call this fish an Alligator Gar it was pretty awesome, but this was just one of the crazy things that happened. We moved to the next fishing hole and managed to lasso a

Red fish yes that right no hook in the Red fish at all! It was really neat I can?t say that I have ever caught a Red fish that way. Just take a look at that picture. Click on it and see!
