Just a little different!

Report Date: June 11, 2005

Is this weather ever going to give us a break? Well I?m not going to lie, we have fished every day weather good or bad. I don?t

knows about you but I?m ready for the regular summer weather to come back. We did manage to do a few different things this week.

Well let?s start with the Red fish. This week it has been a little slower, some days we had to work for the Red fish bite. Between the tides and the wind it has definitely been some tough fishing. When the tide gets real high these fish get way up on the flats or in the mangroves and scatter out. The Red fish of the week was a 27 inch fish.

Then we have the Trout. This fishing has been very good. We have managed to get these fish into a frenzy just about every time we fished and we have caught a large number of fish in a short amount of time. We had a lot of nice Trout but the Trout of the week was a 20 inch fish.

Tarpon, well there are plenty of them around. But with the weather they have been a little tough to catch. But I mean to tell you I do not know the last time I have seen so many Tarpon. There are a lot of fish around and they are going to start biting and going nuts real soon. We did manage to hook a few really nice fish last week but we did not manage to boat any of the fish.

It is get really Snooky. It is getting to be the time of the year where the Snook are starting to spawn. So you can find these fish in big schools and get the fish in a frenzy. I mean to tell you that you can catch a large number of fish. The Snook of the week was a 28 inch fish.

Then something a little different, we

got to do some off shore fishing. We had a few days that it was so nice and flat that we had to go. We had a great day! We caught Grouper, Snapper, Shark, a lot of King fish, and a nice Cobia. A little bit of everything.
